2023 Spring Registration Open!

Good Morning Wilsonville Little League Parents!

2023 SPRING REGISTRATION IS OPEN

We are looking forward to a fun and rewarding Spring Season. Volunteers and board members are hard at work coordinating and reserving field space, prepping and rehabbing fields from the winter, ordering jerseys, talking with potential team sponsors, and just trying to make sure we have a season full of fun, great plays, solid sportsmanship, team and individual growth.

For Minors, Majors & Juniors - Registration will open until February 25th - which will be the weekend of Tryouts. After February 25th, teams will be drafted and no additional players can be added. February 25th is the final cutoff date for Minors, Majors & Junior registration.

As an incentive, if you register before February 12th, those players will be given first access to register for an evaluation time. Anyone after February 12th will be given later access, but no guarantee of preferred evaluation timing.

For TBall, Coast & Farm - Registration will be closed March 5th. After March 5th, players will be placed on a waitlist and only if there is space available and coaches available will a player be added. Player requests for teammates & coaches will only be reviewed and 'honored' for players that register before the March 5th deadline. After March 5th we can not guarantee friends and coaches requests.

We're always in need of volunteers in lots of different ways and abilities.

Field Clean up day - Weather Permitting - March 11th. We can use some help for a few hours or all day, just tending to the fields, picking weeds, spreading field turf, and just cleaning up some rough patches.

Potential Head/ Assistant Coaches - For Minors, Majors & Juniors - if you're interested in being a head coach, we need to hear from you by February 5th. Coaches interviews will be February 7-9 for those divisions. For TBall, Coast, & Farm - Coaches interviews will be around March 7-9th. We always need coaches at these levels and we're willing to provide help and resources to ensure its a smooth transition.

Information Meeting - There will be an information meeting the week of March 6th (in person, time & place, TBD). This is geared for newer parents to Little League, but is also a great resource for getting questions answered before the season starts. Board members and volunteers will be on hand to help with all your questions; from broad and general to the very, very specific question about your player and their expectations.

Winter Workouts and Spring Training - For Minors & Majors we will be holding optional winter workout the week of February 21-23rd. Coaches will be on hand. The purpose will be to get kids throwing and thinking about baseball again after a long winter layoff and to give kids a chance to be in front of coaches to better help the evaluation process to go smoothly.

For Minors & Majors - Spring Training will be the week of March 13th - 17th. This is a week or so before Spring Break. Teams will meet, get together and will practice as a league, as we get ready to start the season in earnest right after Spring Break.

For TBall, Coast, & Farm - Spring Training will be March 18th. By then teams will be created and this will be a good opportunity to simply kick off the season with a fun league wide practice with coaches and friends getting together and working on some drills and fun games.

Make sure you let your Wilsonville friends know that you signed up! We'd love to have as many kids as possible come out and play this Spring!
